Our consultations are free and we never charge a fee unless we get a recovery for you.
We handle workers’ compensation claims throughout Southern Minnesota, including but not limited to the following cities: Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter, New Ulm, Fairmont, Blue Earth, Owatonna, Nicollet, Faribault, Worthington, Austin, Albert Lea, Sleepy Eye, and Lake Crystal. Most of the workers’ compensation hearings for our clients are held in Mankato. Our central location is convenient for our clients. However, if necessary, we can also meet clients at locations closer to their homes.
Workers’ Compensation Fees:
- INITIAL CONSULTATIONS to discuss your case are ALWAYS FREE.
- We do not charge a fee unless we win your case.
- You NEVER get a monthly bill and you do not pay any money up front.
- In most cases, fees are set by law at 25% of the first $4,000 and 20% of the next $60,000 of benefits we get for you that the insurance company is not paying voluntarily
- We get paid out of what we win for you at the end of the case and subject to what all parties agree to or the judge rules to be fair.
- Fees in workers’ compensation cases are set by the legislature so no matter how many years of experience of the lawyer has; he/she will charge you the same. With over 30 years of experience, our caring and experienced team is a great value.
Questions & Answers
Q: I got hurt at work, and now my boss cut my hours. Work comp is paying my medical bills, but my house payment is behind. What can I do?
A: In most cases, you will be entitled to 2/3 of the difference between what you were earning when you got hurt and what you earn now;as long as the cut in hours was due to your injury or restrictions.
