Ruth M. Harvey
Ruth has been helping people injured at work, in accidents, or who have disabilities since 1980. She practices in the following areas of law:
INJURED SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY
- Workers' Compensation
- Personal Injury
Sometimes more than one of these areas of law affects the same case, and Ruth knows how they all work together. That is important, because rights can be endangered if all the proper steps are not taken.
Ruth received her law degree from the University of Minnesota. She is active in the Minnesota State Bar Association and chaired the Civil Litigation Section in 1998 - 1999. In our community, she has served on and chaired the United Way Board and she has been a member of the YWCA Board of Directors. She served on the Boy Scouts Twin Valley Council and has volunteered for Boy Scouts Troop 29. She has been named a “Woman of Distinction”.
In addition, Ruth has published a number of articles in professional journals as well. She is very proud of having been a member of a select committee that helped to rewrite Minnesota Jury Instructions for Civil Trials in plain language.
