Herb prides himself on being easy to talk to and being accessible to his clients. He knows how important your case is and is always available to answer your questions.
Herb is an experienced divorce attorney and frequently presents workshops to other attorneys. He is a long time member of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and served as the editor of its newsletter for four years. He is a member of the Academy of Family and Conciliation Courts, which is devoted to helping children whose families are involved in legal conflicts.
An important part of Herb's practice involves mediation, a process in which he helps divorcing couples resolve legal issues through an agreement. He began mediating in 1990 and it is the most rewarding part of his practice. He is a member of the Association of Conflict Resolution, a national mediation organization. Herb strongly believes that mediation can help people by encouraging them to communicate and find new ways to resolve their differences.
He actively gives his time and talent to the Mankato area. Herb is active in the Mankato Rotary Club, the YMCA, and the North Mankato Civic and Commerce Association and hosts a show on KMSU public radio.
